Ladder Stand at Dawn Ornament

Long before anyone sees a deer there is the climb, the cold seat and the slow sunrise. This ornament is about that part of hunting: an empty ladder stand strapped to a big oak at the edge of a frosty bean field, a lantern hanging from a branch and the first light coming over the tree line.

It is printed on a wood-grain look in light or dark. Because there is no animal in the picture, it is a favourite of the hunter who says the sit matters more than the shot.

• Finish: Light Wood-Look or Dark Wood-Look.
• Round ornament with a hanging loop.

Give it to the person who gets the family out of bed on opening morning, or to a new hunter after their first season in the stand. It also works as a memorial for a hunting partner when you hang it on the empty side of the tree.
