You can leave a small town, but it rides along every Christmas. Hometown Ornaments are for the place on the county road where you grew up: the water tower you could see from every field, the main street with its one stoplight, the grain elevator at the edge of town, the white church in the snow, the mailbox at the end of a long gravel drive. The scenes are generic small-town pictures, not copies of any real landmark sign, so they fit almost any town in the US, Canada, Australia or New Zealand.
On the custom water tower ornament you type your town’s name and a year, and it appears on the tank in the live preview before you add it to the cart. It is a common gift for someone who moved away, a new couple’s first home together, a class reunion or a family that just bought the old home place back.
