Cedar Gift is an online shop for wood-look Christmas ornaments and rustic gifts made for country people: farm and ranch families, truck owners, hunters and anglers, and anyone who still calls a small town home even if they now live somewhere else. We sell ornaments with red farm tractors, old pickups, whitetail bucks, mallards, water towers and white country churches, plus porch signs, coaster sets, throws, pillows, doormats, keychains, tees, sweatshirts, hoodies, mugs and a tumbler that carry the same designs. Everything ships from the USA, free, to the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. This page explains what we sell, how our products are made and described, and what you can count on when you order from us.

1. Who we make things for

Most of the people who buy from Cedar Gift are buying for someone else. A daughter looking for something for a father who has farmed the same ground for forty years. A wife picking out an ornament for the husband who never misses opening morning. Grandparents filling stockings for grandkids who ride along in the tractor cab. A sister who moved to the city, or to Saskatoon, or to Toowoomba, and wants her parents to have a little piece of the town she grew up in. A crew that wants to thank the neighbour who helped get the hay in before the rain.

These are people who do not want a glittery bauble from a big-box store. They want something that looks like the life they actually live: the truck in the drive, the barn with a wreath on the hayloft door, the buck at the edge of the timber, the water tower you can see from every field. That is what we try to put on the tree.

2. What we sell

Our range is built around four branches, plus home gifts and things to wear:

• Farm & Tractor Ornaments: a red farm tractor with a wreath on the grille, a vintage tractor in front of a red barn, round bales under a windmill, a barnyard cow in a Santa hat, a combine under a harvest moon, and a custom farm family ornament with your name and year.
• Truck Ornaments: an old red pickup bringing the tree home, a flatbed farm truck, a classic pickup with a wreath, a lifted 4×4 with mud on the doors, and a custom pickup ornament with a name and year.
• Buck & Field Ornaments: a whitetail buck in the timber, mallards over the marsh, a ladder stand at dawn, a largemouth bass jumping, and a custom first buck keepsake.
• Hometown Ornaments: a water tower with your town’s name, small-town Main Street on Christmas Eve, a grain elevator skyline, a country church in the snow, and a mailbox on the county road.
• Rustic Home Gifts: a farmhouse porch sign, a custom coordinates sign, a coaster set of four, a fleece throw, a throw pillow, a welcome doormat and a keychain.
• Country Tees & Mugs: a tractor tee, an old pickup Christmas sweatshirt, a buck season hoodie, a farm coffee mug and a tree stand tumbler.

3. How our products are made and described

Every Cedar Gift product is printed for your order after you place it. That is why preparation takes 1-3 business days before a parcel leaves for its 7-14 business days in transit. It also means we can print personalised text exactly the way you typed it without keeping a warehouse of half-finished stock.

Wood-look, not wood

We want to be plain about this, because it matters to people who know wood. Our ornaments, signs, coasters and keychains have a printed wood-grain look. The grain, knots and weathered edges you see are part of the printed design. They are not carved, cut or burned into timber, and we never describe them as anything other than wood-look. Every product page says “wood-look” for exactly that reason.

The finish options on our ornaments are named for the tone of that printed grain: Light Wood-Look is a warm honey tone that stands out on a dark green tree, and Dark Wood-Look is a deeper walnut tone that sits well among burlap, plaid and tin decorations. Our own generic designs

Every truck, tractor, combine and hunting scene in our store is our own drawing of a generic shape. Our trucks have no maker badges, no copied grilles and no model names. Our tractors are not painted in any manufacturer’s colour scheme. Our hunting and fishing designs carry no outdoor-brand logos, no company camo patterns and no slogans borrowed from a label. Our hometown scenes are generic small-town pictures, not copies of a real town’s sign or seal.

We do this for two reasons. First, it keeps us honest: we do not sell licensed merchandise and we do not want anyone to think we do. Second, it makes the gift more personal. A generic old red pickup reminds everybody of their own grandpa’s truck rather than an advertisement.

4. How personalisation works

Some of our products are built to carry your words. On those product pages you will see boxes above the Add to cart button, for example:

• the custom farm family ornament: a family or farm name and a year, such as THE MILLERS 2026, with an optional line on the back;
• the custom pickup ornament: a name and a year, such as OLD BLUE 1998, on a classic or modern pickup;
• the custom first buck keepsake: the hunter’s name, the season year and an optional short line on the back, such as “Opening morning”;
• the custom hometown water tower: your town’s name on the tank and a year, such as HOLLIS 2026;
• the custom coordinates sign: a place name such as MILLER HOME PLACE, its coordinates and an optional established year.

As you type, the product photo shows your text, so you can see roughly how a long name sits on the design. An optional field with a price next to it, such as the back line, only adds that price when you fill it in; leave it empty and you pay the listed price.

We do not send a proof or mockup before production. We print exactly what you type, so please check spelling, capitals and numbers before you add the item to your cart. If you spot a mistake after ordering, write to us within 24 hours and we will change it (see Cancel or Change an Order). We do not print vehicle, equipment or outdoor brand names, team names or character names; family names, nicknames, towns and years are all welcome.

5. What we promise every customer

These are the commitments behind every order, and they are the same on every page of this site:

A few things we deliberately do not do. We do not show fake reviews, star ratings or “only 2 left” counters. We do not run countdown timers or invent sales. We do not add surprise fees at checkout, and we do not collect sales tax at checkout. If something goes wrong with an order — a cracked ornament, a misprinted year, a parcel that never shows up — we make it right with a replacement or a refund, and you tell us which you prefer.

6. Where we ship and how long it takes

Orders ship from the USA to addresses in the United States, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Shipping is free on every order with no minimum. After the 1-3 business days of preparation, parcels usually take 7-14 business days in transit. Those are estimates rather than guaranteed dates, and the weeks before Christmas are the busiest of the year, so if you have a date in mind, order early or email us and ask. For parcels outside the United States, any import duties or fees depend on the destination country’s rules.

7. How we handle your information

We collect only what we need to fill your order: your name, shipping address, email, the products you chose and any personalisation text. Photos you send us to show a problem with an order are deleted 30 days after delivery. Our Privacy Policy explains this in full, and our Terms of Service set out the rules of using the store, governed by the laws of California.

8. Picking the right gift

If you are not sure where to start, think about what the person talks about most. If it is the machine shed, start with farm and tractor ornaments. If it is the truck, start with truck ornaments. If it is the deer stand or the lake, start with buck and field. If they always end up telling stories about the town they grew up in, the custom water tower is hard to beat. For someone whose tree is already full, a coaster set, a porch sign or a mug gets used every day of the year.

Two practical tips. For a couple who share a tree, a heart-shaped ornament or a Set of 2 for two households works well. For a gift going abroad to Canada, Australia or New Zealand, give yourself the full delivery window plus a few extra days around the holidays.
